SELFISH: Prioritizing Yourself Without Feeling Like a Jerk
“Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of others.” - Jennifer Williamson
One of the most common barriers that I hear clients talk about is “putting other people’s needs before my own.”
Even though we all know that meeting our own needs makes us better-equipped to show up for our work, our family, our communities...we still struggle.
And this pattern of de-prioritizing ourselves can leave us feeling unfulfilled, resentful, and unhappy. It is not sustainable, it is not effective, and it is not truly helpful to those we’re trying to “serve.”
So let’s stop.
In this free webinar, I’ll lead you through a process to
Examine what’s causing you to repeat this pattern
Reframe what it means to take care of yourself first
Learn tools to start practicing meeting your needs so that you can be fully available to everyone you care about.
During the webinar, you’ll be able to ask me questions and talk with each other via chat. There will also be several live Q+A portions so that you and I can address your specific challenges together. You’ll leave with a new perspective on self-prioritization and tools to put it into practice.
